Dr. Alborz Hormoz, DMD
Dr. Hormoz lived in Germany and Iran as a child, before moving to Canada in 1997. He attended high school in Toronto, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Western Ontario. He went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Hormoz served as a volunteer dentist in Guatemala and Nepal before entering private practice in Ontario.
A member of several dental organizations and associations including the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Hormoz is continually upgrading his education and skills.
Dr. Hormoz is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has completed additional courses in oral sedation, and Invisalign braces, and is also certified by the National Board of Dental Examiners, and the Western Regional Examining Board (U.S.A.)
In his spare time, Dr. Hormoz enjoys travelling and spending time with his family and friends. He also has a keen interest in soccer.
Dr. Hormoz is excited about connecting with patients and with the greater Erin community. He is hoping to build long lasting patient relationships based on quality care and trust. He’s also eagerly accepting new patients.
Dr. Steven Biner, DMD
Dr. Steven Biner has always had a passion for the sciences and helping others. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2013. He began his career in remote northern Ontario, providing vital dental care to underserved populations, where he developed a deeper appreciation for dental surgery. Dr. Biner is also pleased to offer his patients sedation for dental procedures.
Dr. Biner has volunteered in Brazil, Mexico, Jamaica and Grenada, and annually mentors dental students in underserved areas of the Caribbean. He is a member of several dental associations, including the ODA, CDA, and RCDSO. Outside of work, he enjoys biking, hiking, and spending time with loved ones.
Elaine – Registered Dental Hygienist
Elaine graduated as a registered dental hygienist in 2002. With over 20 years’ experience in dentistry, Elaine joined Erin Hills Dental in 2014. Elaine’s gentle touch and easy going nature will provide any patient with the perfect environment to feel at ease. Elaine consistently ensures she is up to date with the latest in preventative care in order to provide her patients with optimal oral hygiene and overall health care.
Pat – Dental Hygienist
Pat has been a Dental Hygienist for over 10 years and is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy, beautiful smiles. Her gentle approach and dedication to patient care make every visit a positive experience.
In her spare time, Pat enjoys spending time with her family and creating lasting memories with her loved ones.
Krithika – Dental Hygienist
Krithika is a caring and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist who is dedicated to making every dental visit a comfortable and positive experience. With previous experience in dentistry abroad, she brings a blend of technical expertise and genuine compassion to her work. She takes pride in educating patients and providing gentle, thorough hygiene care that helps them achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles.
Linda – Certified Level II Dental Assistant
As a Certified Level II Dental Assistant, Linda brings over 30 years of experience to the dental profession. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep passion for all aspects of the dental field.
Committed to continuous education, Linda is always striving to expand her knowledge to better serve her patients. She strongly values building meaningful relationships and providing the highest quality of care.
Linda is extremely proud to work alongside a team of professionals who foster continuous learning and innovation.
When she’s not in the office, Linda enjoys traveling with family and friends, always on the lookout for her next adventure.
Margaret – Dental Assistant
Margaret has been a valued member of our dental team for the past eight years, bringing warmth, professionalism, and a wealth of experience to every patient interaction. With over 20 years of experience as a dental assistant, she’s passionate about creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients of all ages.
Outside of work, Margaret enjoys traveling and exploring new places.
Her dedication and genuine care make her an integral part of our team and a familiar friendly face to everyone who visits our office.
Krystal – Dental Assistant

Jessica – Front Desk Receptionist
With a warm smile and a welcoming attitude, Jessica is the first friendly face you'll see when you visit our office. She ensures every patient feels comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.
Jessica has been part of our team since 2025 and brings eight years of experience in customer service and healthcare administration. She is passionate about helping patients navigate their appointments, insurance, and any questions they may have—always with kindness and professionalism.
Outside of the office, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring the outdoors through activities like hiking. She is also passionate about fitness and loves to travel whenever she gets the chance.
Poonam – Patient Coordinator
Poonam graduated her dental assisting studies in 2003 and has been working in dental ever since. Her professionalism and commitment is noticeably reflected in her positive attitude and delivery of care. Poonam leads a busy lifestyle between her hair and make up business and ensuring that everyone has a positive experience at Erin Hills Dental.
